EXPERIMENTAL Parameters for rotational friction, a Coulomb frictional force law with shear stiffness and heat generation due to friction. Forces are applied at the contact point, which generates moments.

  • normalK (float) - spring constant used when calculating linear elastic normal force.
  • dynamicMu (float) - friction coefficient when contact is sliding.
  • staticMu (float) - friction coefficient which governs the transition from static contact to dynamic frictional sliding.
  • shearK (float) - spring constant used when calculating linear elastic shear force.
  • diffusivity (float) - Thermal diffusivity.
